What it does
Vectary runs in the browser and combines 3D scene editing, materials, animation and interactive presentations. Its variants and floating interface tools let viewers choose between prepared product options. A Free workspace allows five projects and private sharing; public distribution is a separate paid option.
Put alternative objects into a Variants group to show one option at a time. Add a Variants UI element, assign that group as its source, then choose a dropdown or swatch display. Labels, thumbnails and layout settings shape the selector; the alternatives can include object groups, lights or cameras as well as individual meshes.
Public distribution is a separate paid option. With suitable access, open Share, enable Share to Web, select Update all changes and copy the link or embed code. Disable Restrict Access for a public presentation. Later scene edits need another update before viewers see them. If the paid workspace expires, its projects lock and public links or embeds become unavailable.
| Plan | Workspace scope |
|---|---|
| Free | Five projects, one seat and private sharing |
| Starter | 25 projects and two seats |
| Team | 250 projects, five seats and CAD import |
| Business | Quoted pricing |
Starter and Team are listed as monthly-billing workspace subscriptions, with taxes extra. Public distribution also uses quoted pricing.
Strengths
- A single variant selector can switch meshes, groups, lights or cameras.
- Private sharing and explicit updates help control when scene changes become visible.
Watch out for
- Public distribution requires separate paid access.
- An expired paid workspace makes its public links and embeds unavailable.
Best for
- Product configurators with a small set of visual choices
- Teams sharing browser-based 3D presentations
