What it does

VEED is a browser based AI video creation platform. Users generate videos, voices, avatars and images from a prompt, then edit, add subtitles and translate into more than 100 languages. The site lists templates for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, plus editing, conversion and transcription tools. Developer APIs cover lip sync, subtitles, background removal, clean audio and image to video generation.

The about page states VEED was founded on 20 March 2018 by Sabba Keynejad and Tim Mamedov. The site links to pricing, signup, login, support and API documentation. The API reference lists endpoints for Fabric 1.0, Lipsync 2.0, Clean Audio, and video background removal in standard, fast and green screen versions, with usage based pricing. Free browser tools include a video editor, automatic subtitle generator, video converter, screen recorder and teleprompter. The company states it raised 35 million dollars from Sequoia in 2022 and has grown to over 150 people.
