What it does
Velora, formerly ParaSwap, routes token swaps and cross-chain orders from a connected wallet. Its Delta system delegates execution to competing settlement agents. The interface also offers limit orders, while APIs let wallets and other applications integrate its trading functions.
A useful Velora example is exchanging USDC on Ethereum for ETH on Base. Connect the wallet, set Ethereum under the paying side and Base under the receiving side, choose the tokens and enter the amount. The quote should show what leaves the first network and what arrives on the second.
Delta handles execution through settlement agents. Its gasless flow pays network costs from the tokens received, so gasless does not mean costless. Inspect the output after network costs and swap fees, choose Confirm Trade, then review the wallet request. A spending approval may also be needed. View Order Details opens the protocol explorer to follow settlement.
The published UI charge is normally 0.15%. Most stablecoin-to-stablecoin swaps use a lower charge of 0.01%, and most native-token wrapping or unwrapping has no interface fee. The information box below the trade and Trade Overview display the applicable charge.
This fits users who want the destination asset directly without managing each route separately. It still requires careful selection of the receiving chain and wallet permissions. Developers can use the integration library and API; those access arrangements are separate from an ordinary wallet swap.
Strengths
- Source and destination chains are specified in one swap request
- Order details can be followed in the protocol explorer
- API and library access for wallet integrations
Watch out for
- Network costs can be deducted from the received token amount
- The usual UI fee adds to route-specific costs
Best for
- Wallet owners moving into a different token on another supported chain
