What it does

Verint Community provides discussion forums, shared knowledge and private member spaces for customer communities. Managers can arrange product or regional groups and control who may ask, answer or moderate. Pricing is quoted through Verint, and management tasks require an administrative account.

A product group can contain its own forum and activity stream, with public or private access and a distinct appearance. Build page layouts with widgets and use staging and preview to review changes before publication.

Permissions can let customers ask questions while reserving answers for experts. Reported content and automated rules feed a moderation queue with an appeals process; abuse thresholds can also trigger bans. Verified community answers can become articles in Verint Knowledge Management.

Automation Studio separates development from daily management. Developers implement automation types in server-side JavaScript or Velocity. Community managers then select, configure and enable those types under Administration > Automations > Automations. Triggers can be schedules, platform events, requests from other components or HTTP calls.

Annual pricing is arranged with Verint. For external communities, Verint Cloud is measured by page views and API calls; self-hosted deployments are licensed by server and domain. Internal employee communities use named-user licensing with a minimum block of 300 users. Cloud and self-hosted options therefore need different capacity estimates. For an integration such as Zapier, an administrator registers the connection and separately grants the APIs it may use; creating the connection alone does not provide API access.

  • Reported content follows a moderation process that includes appeals

Watch out for
