What it does
Visit Jamaica introduces resort areas, activities, places to stay, food, culture and events. Area guides offer separate routes for where to eat, where to stay and things to do, supported by an Island Guide and calendar.
Choose an area before comparing accommodation. Kingston, the South Coast, Port Antonio and Negril are presented with different interests, and each area has its own eating, staying and activity routes. That helps give the trip a place-based structure.
The Island Guide adds stories and shorter ideas, including city visits and food interests. The event calendar can add a reason to choose particular dates. Keep the selected event and location together when deciding how it fits the stay, especially if the accommodation is in another resort area.
