What it does
Visitor Tracking provides session activity, customer-journey, funnel and conversion reports across a portfolio of websites. Conversions can be based on a visited page or an event, with source, campaign and device breakdowns.
Visitor Tracking measures activity on sites where you can install its code. A thank-you page can define a conversion, while an action without a new page can use an event. Reports break conversions down by campaign parameters and device, and include a fourteen-day moving average.
Collect the first visits
In your account, open All Sites and use Copy Script for the relevant website. With Google Tag Manager, create a Custom HTML tag, paste that script, leave Support document.write unchecked and select the All Pages trigger. Save, Submit and Publish the container. Visit the website and allow a few minutes, then check whether the visit appears on the app's Visitors page.
| Plan | Monthly pageviews | Additional users |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 10,000 | None |
| Premium | 100,000 | 3 |
| Platinum | 1,000,000 | Unlimited |
All three paid monthly plans allow unlimited sites and conversion trackers. A seven-day trial is available. Reaching the pageview allowance pauses collection until the next month unless the account is upgraded. Premium and Platinum users can be restricted to selected websites.
