What it does
Vistumbler scans and visualizes nearby access points using Windows wireless data and optional GPS input, with map-oriented export formats.
Select the correct wireless adapter, collect access-point observations and add GPS input when locations are part of the survey. Vistumbler supports COM/NMEA receivers, AP import/export and KML/GPX output for mapping. Its observations come from Windows Native Wi-Fi APIs or netsh, so adapter selection and reception determine what appears. The project recommends disconnecting from access points for best scanning results. The stable AutoIt application lists Windows 10/11 and .NET Framework 4; it is separate from the unfinished CS and MAUI successor previews. The homepage identifies GPLv2 source licensing. Keep the receiver and observation location with an exported survey.
