What it does
Keystone-SDA Visual supplies Swiss news, sports, archive and creative photography for business customers. The portal combines image search, project lightboxes and use-specific purchasing.
Combine keywords with AND, OR or NOT, then narrow by date or image type. Save a candidate with the plus icon to add it to the active lightbox; select the lightbox name to switch projects or create a new collection.
Move selected images into the cart and declare each use. The cart is cleared when you log out, while lightboxes remain available. Purchased files can be downloaded as a ZIP under My Account > Bezüge for five days. A Clearance Required image needs approval for each use.
Business customers can obtain a login for full searches and unwatermarked files. Pricing can follow a subscription, individual-image or quota agreement. The general terms separate those contractual uses from additional publication rights, require the supplied credit and restrict storage of unused material to 30 days.
Strengths
- Named lightboxes preserve project selections between sessions.
- The cart accepts different image licences and declared uses.
Watch out for
- Full accounts are restricted to business customers.
- Cart contents disappear on logout, and purchased ZIP downloads expire after five days.
Best for
- Business publishers and agencies sourcing Swiss visual material
