What it does
Vital warps waveforms, converts samples into wavetables and displays modulation through animated controls.
Convert a sample into a wavetable or edit one from scratch, then preview modulation before committing it. Animated waveforms and filter responses make the changes visible; MPE and tuning-file support extend performance options.
Basic Free contains the full synth with a smaller preset/wavetable collection. Paid offers add content and benefits such as unlimited text-to-wavetable requests; that feature uses a web service rather than only local synthesis. Check the 64-bit, OpenGL and host requirements.
