What it does
Volusion is a hosted ecommerce platform for building a storefront and managing products, stock and orders. It offers themes, product-display controls and payment integrations. Merchants need an account and a subscription sized to store capacity; a fourteen-day trial is available for setup and testing.
In a Volusion product's Stock Status area, read On Hold alongside the stock quantity: it counts units ordered but not yet processed. The Hist link opens the item's stock history, where event types identify orders, purchase orders, return authorizations, manual edits and product-table imports. Check that history before correcting a quantity discrepancy.
An untouched stock field is blank rather than an entered quantity. After stock is added, the current amount appears beside the field.
Store administration uses an email-and-password account. Open your store's /admin address to log in; My.Volusion also handles billing and plan management.

Personal, Professional and Business also have annual sales-volume ceilings. Volusion measures sales volume over a trailing twelve months from payments through its offered methods. Nonpreferred gateways and additional services can add fees. The trial lets you build and test the store for fourteen days, with its data retained when you select a plan.
