What it does
Vrbo focuses on entire-place holiday rentals such as houses, cabins and apartments. Its search distinguishes adults, children and infants and includes a pet control that limits results to properties allowing pets.
Set the full party before comparing homes. Vrbo distinguishes children from infants and can filter for properties that allow pets, so the initial search can reflect more than an adult headcount. The service’s entire-place focus is useful when having the accommodation to yourselves is central to the trip.
Search by the city, neighbourhood or nearby point of interest, then examine the individual home’s details. A whole property still has its own capacity and arrangements. Signing in provides a place to contact hosts and keep messages together. Use that conversation to settle questions about the particular stay before treating it as a match for the whole group. The My trips area provides a separate route back to existing plans.
Vrbo’s terms make the property provider’s cancellation policy central to a refund. Its service fee is refunded only when the booking qualifies for a full refund under that policy, so a partial accommodation refund need not return every charge.
