What it does
wallee provides payment methods and integrations for online stores, mobile applications, terminals and unattended machines. Merchants configure these channels in the wallee portal and connect an appropriate payment processor. Registration is free, while live use has plan, transaction and processor charges that vary by country.
An account starts with a Space, the container for its payment data and configuration. Use separate Spaces for independent shops with different data.
In an ecommerce integration, a new transaction is Pending while its amount and other details can still change. Confirming it fixes the initial request and lets checkout begin. An Authorized result reserves funds; completion starts collection. Wait for Fulfill before releasing goods or a download, because Completed alone may still be waiting for the payment method to confirm receipt. Failed and Decline results need different handling from a successful sale.
Swiss platform prices
These prices exclude VAT and the additional processor or acquiring charges.
| Plan | Monthly platform fee | Main transaction charge |
|---|---|---|
| Terminal Only | CHF 0 | Terminal transactions from CHF 0.03 each |
| Basic | CHF 19.95 | Ecommerce transactions CHF 0.20 each |
| Business | CHF 69.90 | Ecommerce transactions CHF 0.12 each |
| Enterprise | Quoted | Configured for the business |
Terminal maintenance adds CHF 5 per terminal per month. The Swiss calculator displays Visa and Mastercard processing at CHF 0.20 + 1.55%; processor rates depend on industry, risk and volume.
Strengths
- Space Views can share configuration while selecting different currencies and translations for related storefronts.
- Native iOS and Android integration kits return completed, failed, canceled and pending outcomes and support checkout styling.
Watch out for
- Data and configuration cannot be shared between separate Spaces.
- Some payment methods need a manual delivery decision before the transaction can move to Fulfill or Decline.
Best for
- Retailers connecting web sales with terminals or self-service machines
- Developers mapping asynchronous payment results into order fulfillment
