What it does
WhatIsMyIP.com shows public IP information and offers IP registration, ASN, hostname, DNS and other network lookups through a browser toolkit.
Use the IPv4/IPv6 display to see the public address presented to the site, or enter an address manually if automatic detection is unavailable. The homepage requires JavaScript for detection and offers ISP, ASN and approximate location details alongside separate WHOIS and DNS tools. A public exit address answers a different question from a private address on the local network; it does not identify a particular person or precise device location. The Starter plan lists 12 homepage uses and 12 tool-page uses per 24 hours, plus one API key with 24 calls per day. Paid tiers increase those limits. API output is available as text, JSON or XML.
