What it does
Who.is combines WHOIS and RDAP lookup with DNS records, nameserver information and paid domain-history or monitoring services.
Enter a domain or IP address, then choose registration data, structured RDAP or DNS records for the question at hand. A historical report is a separate downloadable product containing the available snapshots and ownership/registrar timeline; it should not be read as the current record. Website monitoring covers uptime, DNS changes and TLS-certificate expiry, with 1 domain free and up to 10 on Plus. Pro adds Domain Watch searches and alerts, while the JSON API starts with a free tier. Record the lookup date and source registry when using the result. A registration contact or privacy service is evidence about the registration, not conclusive identification of the website’s operator.
