What it does
k2pdfopt adapts PDF and DjVu documents for e-readers and phones. It can crop, resize, reflow columns, and produce native or bitmap PDFs with an optional OCR layer.
k2pdfopt rearranges paper-sized PDF or DjVu material for a small reader while keeping PDF as the output. Drop in a file, choose options and convert to a new _k2opt PDF; defaults target a six-inch display. It is intended for text on mainly white backgrounds and can reflow scanned columns with optional OCR. Folder batches are supported, while bitmap-image folders become pages in alphabetical filename order. The receiving e-reader must support PDF, and formulas or figures should be inspected after reflow.
