What it does
WinSCP moves files between Windows and remote servers using SFTP, SCP, FTP, FTPS, WebDAV and S3. It combines a file-management interface with scripting support.
A recurring server upload can start as a visible file operation and later move into a script. WinSCP includes an editor for small remote changes and supports FTP, FTPS, SCP, SFTP, WebDAV and S3. For a folder update, use Commands > Synchronize and enable Preview changes to select the operations to apply. Choose the direction carefully: Local updates the local copy, Remote updates the server, and Both can change each side. Mirror mode can replace a target with an older source file, while deleting files missing from the source is a separate option in one-way synchronization. Both mode never deletes files. The application targets Windows.
