Wix

What it does

Wix is a website builder for creating a site with AI or drag and drop design. It offers over 2000 templates, web hosting, domain registration, and business tools such as eCommerce, scheduling, payments, and email marketing. It is aimed at people and businesses that want to build and manage a website without coding.

Wix is a website builder that combines AI creation with hands-on design control. You can describe what you want and let the AI generate a site, or start from a template and adjust elements on a fluid canvas. The platform includes hosting, a free domain for one year with an annual Premium plan, and business tools like payments, scheduling, and email marketing. A free option lets you create a site without a credit card, and paid plans add storage, marketing features, and more collaborators. The pricing page lists a 14-day money-back guarantee. Before you commit, check the plan details and storage limits. The homepage does not state whether an API or open source license is available, so those remain unknown.
