What it does

Wolvic is an open-source XR browser for supported headsets, with Gecko and Chromium versions, multiple windows and documented privacy controls.

Wolvic brings ordinary web browsing into a headset workflow with multiple windows, tabs and external-keyboard support. The project publishes both Gecko and Chromium versions for supported XR systems. Device and engine choice therefore come before assuming one desktop browser package will fit a headset.

The published service terms document tracking-protection levels, default Safe Browsing and opt-in location access using Gecko settings. Those instructions should be matched to the build in use; the source does not establish identical controls across both engines. The current release page helps identify the supported package rather than relying on the older Firefox Reality name.

Voice input has another data path. Wolvic's policy says platform APIs process speech and MeetKai handles voice search, retaining anonymized transcripts for service improvement. It asks users to avoid confidential information in voice requests. Cloud sync also uses the selected provider's infrastructure. These permissions and service choices are separate from tracking-protection settings inside the browser.
