What it does
WordCounter.io displays word and character totals, keyword occurrences and optional grammar checking around a text workspace.
Type or paste a draft to see word and character totals at the top and frequent keywords beside the text. The keyword panel can make repeated vocabulary visible while you shorten a passage. Settings expose autosave and grammar-check states. If you already use a grammar plugin, the site advises disabling its built-in checker so the other plugin can work. The counter is free. For longer text, its displayed statistics also include sentences, paragraphs and page estimates.
