What it does
WordCounter combines word and character counts with writing goals, find and replace, document import and read-aloud controls.
Type, paste or import a document to see counts change while editing. Set a goal in characters, words, sentences or paragraphs and use whole-word find/replace when trimming a draft. Download writes PDF, TXT or DOC copies. Reading and speaking times use adjustable words-per-minute assumptions. A free account adds saved work and goals; when enabled, Auto-Save records versions every 30 seconds, while Save is manual. Google Drive saving and the promoted Grammarly service are separate routes with their own conditions.
