What it does
WriteMaps is a visual sitemap builder for website planning and content gathering. It keeps page text and SEO fields attached to the structure, supports shared editing and exports PDF, PNG and sitemap.xml files.
WriteMaps is useful when the person planning a website and the people supplying its copy need to work on the same page list. Create a sitemap from the sitemaps page, then add, name and color its pages in the builder.
Select a page and open Page Content & SEO to write its content. Alternatively, switch to Content View and select the page from the list on the left. Share the resulting sitemap through a unique URL with editing, commenting or view-only access, according to what each collaborator needs to do.
The Free account allows two projects with ten pages each. Both Free and Unlimited include AI sitemap generation, website crawling, content writing, project history, SEO meta tags and PDF, PNG and sitemap.xml exports. Unlimited removes the project and page caps through a paid subscription.
No credit card is required to start the trial. When it ends, the account returns to Free, so a small planning project can remain in use without a paid subscription.
