What it does

XTB provides stock and ETF investing, portfolio plans and CFD trading through its platforms. Investment Plans can mix individual companies and ETFs, while Auto Invest schedules contributions. Product access and account conditions follow the regional XTB entity.

XTB lists securities separately from CFDs on markets such as currencies and commodities. That distinction matters: a CFD follows price changes without giving ownership of the underlying share or fund, and borrowed exposure can magnify losses.

Investment Plans offer a way to group stocks and ETFs. Choose a portfolio prepared by XTB or select your own investments and allocations. For recurring purchases, Auto Invest asks for the amount, interval and deposit method, then invests according to the plan’s composition. The UK plan page sets a £15 starting amount.

For UK securities accounts, trading commission is zero up to €100,000 equivalent monthly turnover, then 0.2% with a £10 minimum. A 0.5% currency-conversion fee can still apply. Account opening and maintenance are free for active clients, but that does not make every transaction cost-free. CFD spreads, financing and contract conditions require their own comparison.

Choose the local service before applying. XTB directs UK residents to its UK entity and EU residents to Cyprus; the international company accepts a separate list of countries. Registration asks for residence, and an application outside the entity’s acceptance policy is not activated. UK prices should not be carried over to an EU or international account.
