What it does

XT.COM provides spot, margin and derivative trading, with separate purchase services and developer interfaces. Its spot market form treats a buy budget differently from the number of tokens being sold. Account registration and jurisdiction eligibility are required.

In XT's market-order form, Total on the buy side is the amount of quote currency to spend. Quantity on the sell side is the number of tokens to sell. A percentage slider can fill either value from the relevant available balance. These inputs produce different outputs: a market buy does not fix the number of tokens received in advance.

Log in and open Trade, then Spot Trading. Select the pair, Buy or Sell, and Market Price. Review the amount before the asset-specific action button. Transaction History shows the completed quantity and average price. Large market requests can leave a portion cancelled, and the fill price depends on available liquidity.

The Fees page separates spot, futures and deposit/withdrawal charges. Personal rates use account assets or trading-volume criteria and update daily. Sign in there to see the applicable maker/taker tier. Margin borrowing, futures funding and derivative exposure should be assessed separately from a plain spot order.

XT requires identity verification for full platform access, including fiat purchases, P2P merchant services and higher withdrawal limits. It accepts government identification such as a passport or driver's licence. The user agreement prohibits access from the United States, Canada, Mainland China, Singapore and other listed territories. Trading can lose money; the market-order form does not guarantee a fixed execution price.

Strengths

  • Buy budget and sell quantity are separate controls
  • Percentage slider uses the relevant spot balance
  • Transaction history reports completed amounts and average prices

Watch out for

  • A large market request may only partly execute
  • Market execution does not guarantee the displayed price
  • The United States, Canada and Singapore are excluded

Best for

  • Eligible spot traders checking the difference between spending budgets and token quantities
