What it does

Xtreme Download Manager captures downloads from supported browsers and adds segmentation, batch queues, scheduling and speed limits.

Install XDM and its browser extension, then download normally or paste a batch of links into the manager. Choose file types and sites for automatic capture, set a speed limit, and schedule starts or stops when needed. Media capture supports HLS and DASH, merging separate audio and video into a local file. Interrupted jobs can resume when the source supports it; Refresh link handles a replacement URL for an expired download. XDM 9 is free and GPL-licensed on Windows, macOS and Linux, with Java included. The older XDM 8 route has different platform support.
