What it does
YACReader is a desktop comic-reading project with official releases for supported computer platforms. Its source code is published under GPL v3.
Choose an official release for the computer you use rather than starting with a source build. The project keeps its installation and development instructions alongside the code, which is useful when checking a release or reporting a problem. It is a reader for your own comic files; the software repository does not provide a subscription comic catalogue.
The current feature guide covers mobile and server routes beyond the desktop repository. Connect a mobile app to the library by QR code, then browse remotely or import comics for offline reading with synced progress. Desktop/server use is free; mobile prices are separate. Image-based EPUB support is labeled experimental.
