What it does
cloudLibrary connects patrons to a library’s digital book and audiobook collection. Login uses the selected library’s ID and PIN.
Choose a participating library and sign in with its existing library ID and PIN; cloudLibrary does not require a separate cloudLibrary account. That institution chooses the collection, loan length and simultaneous checkout allowance. A hold can be necessary because ebook lending uses a one-copy, one-reader model.
Use the mobile app to download an audiobook before listening offline. Check the device route carefully for ebooks: Fire tablet support does not mean Kindle Paperwhite compatibility. Renewals are available shortly before expiry only when the title has no holds.
The support page’s Advanced Search can narrow by series, ISBN, narrator and subject. For a Kobo renewal, send the title to Kobo again after renewing it in cloudLibrary.
