What it does
Yuh combines Swiss payment-account tools, eBill, TWINT and savings projects in one app. Its joint account gives two adults a shared balance with separate access and notifications. Yuh supplies the application, while Swissquote Bank provides the banking and financial services.
Yuh’s joint account is designed for two people sharing everyday costs. Both holders first need their own active Yuh personal account. In Settings, invite the second person, follow the setup steps and sign the contract. Each uses a separate device and login.
The shared account has its own Swiss IBAN, cards, eBill and TWINT. Both holders receive activity notifications, and joint savings projects show progress toward common goals. A personal account remains separate. Joint accounts are limited to two Swiss residents aged at least 18, with one account per pair, and do not support investing.
What costs money?
Account management, physical and virtual Mastercards, savings projects and EUR SEPA transfers are free. Currency conversion costs 0.95%. One Swiss ATM withdrawal is free per calendar week starting Monday; later withdrawals cost CHF 1.90 each. Foreign ATM withdrawals cost CHF 4.90.
For a standard personal account, current applications are accepted from adults in Switzerland, Austria or Liechtenstein who are not US persons. Provide an ID or passport, complete identity verification and make the first deposit from an account in your own name. Austrian and Liechtenstein residents also need official residence proof and an initial deposit of at least €500 from a local account. Swiss foreign nationals need their physical residence permit.
For a bill or household saving goal, these payment and sharing tools are the relevant part of Yuh. Investing remains a separate activity in the personal account.
Strengths

- Swiss IBAN payments, eBill and TWINT sit alongside separate personal account access.
Watch out for
