What it does
Bosca Ceoil Blue uses a piano roll and pattern timeline for making music with synthesized instruments.
Choose a scale, sketch patterns in the piano roll and arrange them across up to eight channels. Synthesized instruments supply the sounds, while WAV, MIDI and XM exports let the result move into a game, video or another music workflow.
The creator provides free Windows, Mac and Linux downloads that unpack and run, plus a browser version. Built-in guides explain the controls. Check original Bosca Ceoil project compatibility before migrating older work.
Strengths
