What it does
ZebPay offers spot trading, Quick Trade and CryptoPacks, with separate India, Australia and global site routes. Its India service requires an account, identity verification and Indian residence, and excludes US users. Fees and withdrawal conditions differ by region; the details below concern the India service.
Using the India account
ZebPay requires individual customers to be 18 or older. Its identity-verification flow uses Aadhaar through DigiLocker, with manual document upload as a fallback, plus PAN checks and a live selfie. The app shows verification states such as Pending, Verified and Re-KYC Required, and lets an unfinished process resume.
In Quick Trade, choose the pair and enter an INR amount or crypto quantity. Select Market for an immediate order or Limit for a target price. Buy or Sell leads to the summary and confirmation. The credited crypto appears in the wallet after execution. Rate Alerts notify you when a chosen price is reached; an alert itself does not place a trade.
Charges that affect the account
The regular India exchange tier charges 0.45% maker and taker; Quick Trade starts at 0.5%, with the applicable amount shown in Preview Summary. GST is additional. ZebPay separately identifies tax withholding, which is not its trading fee.
Regular identity verification is free. Enhanced verification costs ₹590 including GST when used to increase limits or after a threshold is crossed. INR withdrawals carry a ₹15 fee. A month with neither trading nor use of Earn can incur an inactivity charge equivalent to 0.0001 BTC.
Withdrawal limits depend on verification level and address whitelisting. CryptoPacks, the separate basket product, have their own purchase, sale and rebalancing rules. Futures are also separate from spot holdings and can magnify losses; ordinary crypto prices can fall sharply too.
