What it does

Zervant, now presented as Zervant by Shine, provides online and mobile invoicing for small businesses. You can prepare estimates, review invoice drafts and track customer billing, with paid options for conversion and repeat invoices. A free account allows five customers and five invoices per month.

Zervant keeps preparation separate from issuing the final invoice. You can save a draft and edit it until the details are ready. Use Preview, then Approve and send to choose email, PDF download or approval without immediate delivery. Approval assigns the invoice number and locks the document, so review the customer, prices and payment details first.

If you update company details in My Account, reopen and save an existing draft to bring those changes into it. Once an invoice has been approved, corrections require the appropriate replacement or credit-note route. For an unpaid invoice, More > Credit note creates the credit, while More > Copy as new gives you a new invoice to correct. For money already received, use the credit-note process rather than deleting the original.

Plan choice

The published euro annual offers, excluding VAT, are:

Plan Annual charge Main billing limits and additions
Free €0 5 customers and 5 invoices monthly
Starter €119.88 30 customers, unlimited invoices, estimate conversion and reminders
Pro €215.88 Unlimited customers and invoices, recurring billing and time-to-invoice
Growth €503.88 Pro tools with a larger premium delivery allowance

Regional prices and delivery options vary. Monthly subscriptions offer a 14-day trial; the annual offer does not include that trial. Optional online card and bank payments carry separate processing charges.

The Android and iOS app works as a companion to browser access or for mobile invoice work. Some setup remains on the web: customer and product imports, default currency and VAT settings, and data exports. A sole trader can therefore send bills from a phone while using a computer for initial setup and larger lists.

Strengths

  • Separates editable drafts from numbered, approved invoices
  • Provides a credit-note and replacement route for corrections
  • Supports Android and iOS alongside browser access

Watch out for

  • The free account is limited to five invoices per month
  • Imports, exports and some invoice settings require the web version

Best for

  • Sole traders sending a modest number of customer invoices
  • Small service businesses that need estimates and recurring billing on paid plans
