What it does
Zürcher Kantonalbank’s eBanking manages payments and supporting account records. A payment can start from a recipient name or IBAN, with separate choices for currency, debited account and execution date. QR invoices can be scanned on the phone while the payment is prepared in the browser.
Keep the payment account and date explicit
Start with a name or IBAN in the payment assistant, or open Zahlungen & Karten and choose the payment type. Enter the beneficiary and amount, adjust the currency if needed, then choose the account to debit and execution date.
The form also asks whether you want a debit advice. This is a separate document retained under Bankbelege, useful when you need supporting paperwork as well as the transaction-history entry. Choose the option without an advice if none is needed.
Use the phone to scan for browser banking
With ZKB Mobile Banking activated, open Zahlungen & Karten in eBanking and select the phone icon. Open the resulting push notification on the phone and scan the invoice. Its details appear in the browser for review before completing the payment process.
Laptop cameras and webcams cannot scan ZKB QR invoices. Manual entry is available under the new-payment area’s QR-Rechnung CHF, EUR option.
The ZKB Banking package
The basic package has no monthly fee and includes digital banking, up to three CHF personal accounts and two Visa debit cards. From the fourth personal account, each additional account costs CHF1 monthly; from the third debit card, each extra card costs CHF3.30 monthly. Other services follow the bank’s price schedule.
Account payments require a customer relationship and an eBanking login. An activated mobile app is additionally required for the push-notification scanning route.
