What it does
ZynAddSubFX creates layered instrument sounds with synthesis, filtering and flexible signal routing.
Layer instruments in a kit, choose additive, subtractive or PAD synthesis, then shape them with envelopes, filters and modulation. The virtual keyboard provides an input route without a hardware keyboard, and MIDI/audio drivers or plugin formats connect it to a larger setup.
Check the release and interface generation before following a tutorial. Source availability and the separate Zyn-Fusion binary purchase route have different distribution conditions.
